Show Details
Our divers experienced some super shark activity on their trip this morning
A Short-tail stingray appeared today, looking a little like Casper the ghost.
Once anchored it did not take long before we were visited by some bronzies..
Today we found a seal chasing a small shark
The year may come to an end, but the shark activity continued...
We had a bit of a rainy start today with a slight Easterly wind.
What a beautiful day to spend out on the water and of course diving & watching sharks.
"Just to be that close to a school of sharks that big was an amazing experience"
After the dive was completed we headed along the coastline to spot Great White Sharks as they frequent the shallows during the summer periods.
On our first trip, we managed to spot 1 3.5m female Great White Shark and about 30 Bronze Whaler/Copper Sharks.
Roughly an hour into the trip we saw a Great white shark of about 3.5m which was the same as Great White Shark from the previous day.
We were greeted with 5 Bronze Whaler /Copper Sharks and ended up with roughly 30 individuals for the day
Within 5 minutes we had 3 Bronze Whalers/Copper Sharks. By 9 am we had seen 2 Great White Sharks and about 30 Bronze Whaler Copper Sharks.
Within 5 minutes we had 10 Bronze Whaler/Copper Sharks. By 10:20am we had our first Great White Shark of the day, a 3m female.
